Robin Pharo has extensive professional experience in the green building and sustainability marketplace. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and also has considerable education from organizations working in improving the environment, including the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Ms. Pharo currently holds a number of high profile positions within the areas of green and healthy buildings. She is the Founder and President of Healthy Homes, a Green/Healthy Building consultancy firm in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. She is also President of the Treysta Group, LLC, a company dedicated to green business development and certification. Finally, she is Director of the Green Built Home Program, a program of the Wisconsin Environmental Initiate that supports voluntary Green Building programs for single and multi-family homes. She also assisted the NAHB in their rollout of the National Green Certification program as a member of their local homebuilder association working group. She is recognized by the NAHB Research Center in Washington, D.C., as a trainer for the program.
Prior to establishing Healthy Homes, Ms. Pharo worked immensely in the new home market and green product development field through her work at Research Products Corporation. Ms. Pharo has traveled the country lecturing and teaching both HVAC contractors and builders on the need for better environments and the best way to accomplish this need within their buildings. She was also instrumental in developing products and solutions with marketable sustainability benefits.
On a personal level, Ms. Pharo serves on the Membership and Green Committee for the Madison Area Builders Association. She is a State Director for the Wisconsin Builders Association as well as serving on the Master Builder Education Subcommittee. Ms. Pharo is also a former board member for the Wisconsin Partners for Sustainability.
